Smike 

Smike, Ralph Nickleby’s lost son.  He lives in Dotheboys Hall, Dotheboys Hall is ‘ horrible’ because in there many thing is happening like violence, etc. He tries to run away from Dotheboys Hall, at first its unsuccessful, but at last he successful to run away from there with Nicholas help.

He is  kind to Nicholas and Nicholas's family. Because Nicholas had been saved him and he is loyal to Nicholas. Wherever he goes , Smike always loyal to follow and waiting for him.  Smike falls in love with Kate. Unfortunately he is dead, because illness. After his death it is revealed that he was the son of Ralph Nickleby.
